"If you’re looking for an exciting year working  and travelling, being an Au Pair in New Zealand is the perfect opportunity for you. The Dream Au Pair programme in New Zealand lets you  work during the week and explore  beautiful New Zealand  during your weekends and holidays. New  Zealand  has  everything  within  reach:  Vibrant  cities,  beautiful mountains for hiking and skiing, beaches and oceans to swim, sail or surf, and many more adventurous options. Chances are that you will be placed in one of these regions throughout New Zealand.

It  combines all the energy and excitement of city life with spectacular natural beauty in every  direction.  World-class food,  wine,  coffee,  designer  shopping  and  a  thriving  arts  and culture  scene  is  matched  with  beautiful  harbours,  islands, beaches,  forests  and  volcanic  cones  that  offer  countless adventure  activities  to  enjoy,  from  sailing  and  surfing  to mountain biking and hiking. And it’s all so close  and easy to get around.

It’s not called the “Coolest little capital in the World” for nothing. Wellington is known as New Zealand’s culture capital and you'll find plenty to ignite your imagination here. It's a place packed full of the surprising, the creative and the inspirational. Come discover it all for yourself. As the name suggests New Zealand is young compared to countries in Europe but it’s not short of history. From the Museum of New Zealand “Te Papa Tongarewa” to the Wellington Museum or the new Great War Exhibition, created by Peter Jackson, Wellington offers plenty of places where you can learn about the history of our land.

It’s one of the most diverse places in New Zealand – geographically and culturally. Waikato is situated near the middle of the north island so an easy drive to a number of other great places in New Zealand – Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua and Taupo are all only 1-2 hours away.  About 25 minutes’ drive to the West of Hamilton is the beautiful beach town of Raglan - a surfers paradise, with a friendly, nature loving community.  25 minutes in the other direction, you can find Hobbiton. Hobbiton is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. This site is where the world famous The Lord of The Ring movies where you can take a tour and see the actual underground homes that were used in filming and learn about the filming techniques that were used.
